Upcycled, for more sustainable use of the bi-product of natural extraction, the scent produced is fresh, spicy and with a subtle fruitiness of the peony.

AGARWOOD (OUD)

One of the most expensive ingredients that perfumers can use, this resin soaked wood is steam distilled to produce a rich oil. The fragrance is truly unique; a musty, nutty woody aroma with exotic depth.

GREEN TEA

Said to combat stress, green tea leaves provide a soft, rounded fragrance with a slight spiciness.

La Fumée Alexandrie is a hymn of rose and oud. A striking perfume of scented whisps lifting towards the skies. A rose with a fruity character of both lychee and mandarin is twisted around the dry heat of papyrus and sandalwood. The intensity of oud is tempered with a spicy blend of cinnamon and cumin.

Visions of Majestic Ancient Egypt

La Fumée Alexandrie conjures up visions of majestic ancient Egypt for whom scent was both sacred and seductive, best used to great effect by the legendary Cleopatra who’s sandalwood ship was said to have silken sails drenched in precious rose oil. Perfumer Mathieu Nardin was commissioned to create his own story in the La Fumée world, originally conceived by Lyn Harris in 2010. Since launching, Alexandrie has become iconic in it’s own right and now gets it’s rightful place in the Private Collection. A blend of Rose Damascene absolute from Turkey is the perfumers note, wrapped in papyrus, incense and oud to create a bewitching smokey rose.
